I came across this really awesome deal for fresh fruits & veggies @ el cheapo and wanted to pass it on in case you are interested.

Every 2 weeks you can get a basket of fresh fruit/veggies for $15. The value of the basket is $50. It’s from a co-op of farmers. My sis has been ordering Bountiful Baskets for a while now and LOVES it. She says she eats so much healthier cuz she has so many fruits/veggies hanging around. So here’s the deal:

-Mondays after 4 and Tues before 9pm, you go online and order your basket ($15 reg fruits/veggies or $25 for an organic basket) – see pix below
-Saturdays @ 5pm you go pick up your basket in Blanding
-this is currently offered only every 2 weeks (but will turn weekly soon)
-there is no membership fee, only a one time $3 processing fee
-you are NOT committed to get a basket each time, only order when you want
-if you can’t pick up your basket, arrange for someone else to or you lose your basket
-all the co-op asks is that you volunteer to help when you can (and I think you even get an extra item in your basket when you volunteer!)
-if you want more then just reg fruits and veggies you can “add on” additional items, such as a “salsa basket” or an “Asian basket”, even bread and bulk fruit when it comes on.
-the fruits/veggies that come will be the ones in season. You get when you get. But it looks like no “crazy stuff” like eggplant all the time.

SOooooooooo – if you are interested in getting in on the shipment that arrives THIS Saturday, you need to order your basket TODAY OR TOMORROW BEFORE 9 P.M.!!
Read below for the links to the website.

If there is enough people in Monticello (like #30) who would like a drop off site here, then that’s something we can look into organizing, but for now, the drop off is in Blanding.

Enjoy! Jenna

(PS – it was a little confusing on how to order the basket on the website – you have to make an account and then the word “contribute” actually means “BUY MY BASKET”. Click on the MIDDAY UTAH sites, then pick Blanding. You should figure it out from there) www.bountifulbaskets.org

What came a couple weeks ago… (pix from the message board)   ALL THIS FOR $15!!

This is the “salsa” basket (only $6.50)
